Privacy policy

Direct connections.
Local control.

This policy describes what xForceNow stores, where information goes, and what the developer does—and does not—receive.

Effective July 19, 2026

Privacy summary

The developer does not receive your service password, authentication credential, profile, library, gameplay, microphone audio, controller input, or local diagnostics. xForceNow has no developer-operated account, credential-relay, analytics, advertising, telemetry-upload, or gameplay-proxy server.

This does not mean no third party sees network data. Apple distributes the app, the selected gaming provider operates your account and stream, and GitHub Pages hosts this website. Each processes information necessary for its role under its own policy.

Data stored on Apple TV

Service credentials are stored in Apple Keychain after validation. Settings, favourites, registered console details, per-account preferences, recent activity, catalog metadata, artwork caches, and redacted diagnostics are stored locally. Data is not synchronized to an xForceNow account because no such account service exists.

Connections to gaming services

When you sign in, browse, or stream, xForceNow sends the information needed for that task directly to the selected provider and its infrastructure. Depending on the feature, that can include an authentication token, profile and library requests, device and network characteristics, entitlement checks, controller input, microphone audio when enabled, and technical stream information.

NVIDIA, Microsoft, Sony, game launchers, and their infrastructure process this information under their own privacy policies and terms. xForceNow does not control their server-side records, subscriptions, activity history, or retention.

PlayStation connection guide

The guide has no credential field, form, tracking script, storage API, callback endpoint, or relay. It opens Sony-operated pages. You transfer Sony’s displayed value directly to the Apple TV, and xForceNow validates it directly with Sony. Review the full flow.

Permissions

  • Local Network: discovers and connects to a PlayStation console and other supported local-console workflows.
  • Microphone: captures audio only while the user enables an in-game microphone feature.
  • Controller motion: forwards supported motion input during gameplay.
  • Camera: xForceNow does not capture camera video. A bundled media framework references camera APIs, so Apple may require the usage description to exist.

Permissions can be reviewed or revoked in Apple TV Settings.

Diagnostics and support

Stream and network diagnostics remain local unless you deliberately copy or share information in a support request. Redaction removes tokens, keys, complete account and console identifiers, session credentials, and full network addresses. GitHub Issues is a public forum: do not post credentials or personal data there.

This website

The website uses no analytics, advertising, tracking pixel, account, form submission, cookie, local storage, or credential relay. It is a static GitHub Pages site. GitHub may process ordinary request metadata such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, and time under GitHub’s privacy statement.

The website source is public. The app source is private; public website source verifies the site’s behavior rather than acting as proof of the entire app.

Retention, deletion, and contact

Signing out removes the relevant locally stored service credential. Removing a PlayStation account removes its local account-scoped records. Deleting xForceNow removes app-local settings and caches, subject to Apple platform behavior. Provider-side information must be managed through that provider.

For privacy questions, open a support issue without including private account or credential information.
